VÍCTOR R. RODRÍGUEZ-FUENTES
Profile

Mr. Rodríguez-Fuentes is one of the Founding Partners of the Firm. He counsels and represents companies in Labor and Employment Law matters, as well as civil and commercial litigation. His main practice areas include: counseling and litigating Employment Law matters such as wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, wage and hours claims, drafting and revising employment contracts and Employee Handbooks. Related to traditional Labor Law, Mr. Rodríguez-Fuentes’ main areas of practice include: counseling employers in preventive practices, collective bargaining, arbitration, and the litigation of unfair labor practice charges.

Mr. Rodríguez-Fuentes assists local and multinational employers in day to day Human Resources issues. These includes evaluating disciplinary measures, investigating harassment or discrimination claims, as well as providing the necessary personnel trainings to comply with local legal requirements or business expectations.

Mr. Rodriguez-Fuentes is a frequent speaker in Labor and Employment matters. He provides seminars and trainings for professional associations and individual employers. He is also a certified Notary Public.

REINALDO L. MALDONADO-VÉLEZ
Profile
Mr. Maldonado-Vélez, is one of the Founding Partners of the Firm. He counsels and represents companies in Labor and Employment Law matters, as well as civil, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. His main areas of practice include: litigating Employment Law matters such as wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, wages and hours claims, as well as counseling employers in every day Human Resources matters, drafting and revising employment contracts and Employee Handbooks. He also has extensive experience in collective bargaining processes in both, the public and private sector.

Mr. Maldonado-Vélez is a former Labor Relations and Human Resources Director, as well as a former member of the Puerto Rico’s Labor Relations Board. Mr. Maldonado is a frequent speaker in Labor and Employment matters, and has several certifications enabling him to provide seminars and trainings for professional associations and individual employers. He is also a certified Notary Public.

MICHELLE L. HOLLEY-VÁZQUEZ
Profile

Ms. Holley-Vázquez is an Associate at the Firm. She counsels and represents companies in a broad range of Labor and Employment Law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination and retaliation before state and federal courts and governmental agencies. She also litigates in the areas of civil and commercial law. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Holley-Vázquez worked at another law firm in San Juan representing companies in labor and employment law cases. Upon graduating from Law School. Ms. Holley clerked for the Hon. Federico Hernández Denton, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, and later for the Hon. Efrain Rivera Pérez, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. Ms. Holley’s work and excellent writing skills led her to win a case before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico early in her career.

YAMARIS MERCED GONZÁLEZ

Profile

Ms. Merced González is an Associate at the Firm.  She counsels and represents companies in a broad range of Labor and Employment Law matters.  She also litigates in the areas of civil and commercial law. Upon graduating from Law School and prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Merced González worked for over a year at the Courts of Appeals as law clerk for various Judges.  Specifically, she clerked for the Hon. Sigfrido Steidel Figueroa, Hon. Monsita Rivera Marchand, Hon. Sol de Borinquen Cintrón Cintrón, Hon. Ivelisse Domínguez Irizarry, Hon. Giselle Romero García, Hon. Miguel Cancio Bigas, and Hon. Gerardo Flores García.
